Graphic T-shirt Design

1. What was your job for this project?

My job for this project was to create an original graphic t-shirtdesign for the very real company Stuckey’s Gas Staion using Adobe Illistrator.

2. What was the design process you took to complete the project? Please list your steps below.

The design process started with creating several drafts for the t-shirt design. After reviewing multiple design ideas, I chose one and started to work in Adobe Illustrator. Once the design was complete, I rosterized it am then image traced it to make sure not cuts were overlapping. Then the design was cut into the vinyl and was weeded. Once weeding was complete the design was printed on to the shirt.

3. What did you find most challenging about your design?

The most challenging part of my design was figuring out a way to make the words “Stuckey’s” large without it getting lost in the checkerboard pattern behind it. I sloved this problem by outlining the words in a white border.

4. If you can change one thing about your design what would you change?

I would change the shape of it. The design seems a little small on the t-shirt so I wish that the shape was different sio I could make it bigger.

5. What do you think makes a good graphic t-shirt design?

I think a good graphic t-shirt design is one that is simple but creative.
