1. How does the design that you created demonstrate your knowledge of playing card design?
I used the original bicycle card design as a basis of what my cards would look like. I used a lot of symmetry which demonstrates my knowledge of playing card design because in that way they are easy to read and identify.
2. How would the rest of the deck look? What would you do for the other picture cards? Please describe in detail?
The rest of the deck would be other plane for each card, with a plane fact for each respective plane. The other face cards will be iconic planes. For example, the king would be the airbus. Also the traditional black suits would have the incorporate the green color instead of pink.
3. How does your design demonstrate your knowledge of adobe illustrator?
My design shows how I demonstrated my knowledge of adobe by using the reflection tool and rotation tool to the max. I also used image trace to simplify the images of the planes.
4. What do you feel was the most challenging part of this project and why?
The most challenging part of this project was finding a way to present your specific theme while also staying true to the corporate identity of bicycle. I tried to keep the style of front of the card similar to that of the original bicycle card, but just with more planes. I also tried to keep the inside of the cards simple like the original design.
5. If you can change one requirements what would it be and why?
On thing I would change about the requirements is that you should get to pick your own theme and it should be a final where you have to make the whole deck of cards.
